On Wednesday, Ferrari has unveiled its upgraded Ferrari Portofino convertible, Ferrari called Portofino M., Where M stands for updated Ferrari versions.
The Ferrari Portofino M design is pretty much the same, but the new Portofino M got a mechanical upgrade to relate the spec with Roma coupe.
The new Ferrari Portofino M comes with a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that can give 620 cv or 612 HP, enabling the Portofino M to go from 0-100 km/h in 3.45 sec. A new Gasoline Particulate Filter allows the Portofino M to comply with the strictest European anti-pollution standards (Euro-6D) without compromising driving pleasure.
The Ferrari Portofino M also comes with a new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox based on dual-clutch oil bath architecture with a 20% smaller clutch module and 35% higher torque delivery. The Ferrari Portofino M has also been introduced to an evolved ECU and eight gear to improve transmission efficiency, which results in lower fuel consumption and improving performance.
By tradition, every single Ferrari has a particular soundtrack that makes it unique. The Ferrari Portofino M is no exception. For achieving a unique sound, the geometry of the entire exhaust line has been redesigned completely. The two rear silencers have been eliminated, and the by-pass valves are now oval. The result is that the new Prancing Horse GT 2+ spider's engine has an even more exhilarating soundtrack with even higher sound quality.
The purpose of the five-position Manettino, a head on a Prancing Horse GT spider, is to deliver the Ferrari Portofino M's handling and grip even more accessible by extending the setting further with the addition of the Race position. Supported by the introduction of the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer, that position focuses on maximizing driving pleasure.
The Ferrari Portofino M's multi-level dashboard comprises an upper half and an intermediate gap designed to lighten the lower half's perceived mass. This separating of the dash into different levels allowed the designers to organize the in-car devices to sound effect while simultaneously defining its signature full-width architecture. A central horizontal aluminum blade divides the separate areas in the above section. The additional control functions are located in the ladled section below, with a 10.25" touchscreen in the middle. The interior and dashboard structure features two shells combining all technical components and a link that visually connects the instrument panel area with the central tunnel to boost passenger engagement.
The Ferrari Portofino M's seats are the product of a unique analysis project and have an innovative magnesium structure. Different density redundancy and an ultra-compact seatback profile give space for rear occupants. This ample rear-seat room is clear. Also available is three-level ventilation for the seat and backrest, and the neck warmer for winter months. The system continually adapts the headrest's friendly airflow speed to ensure it is proportional to the car's speed, outside temperature, and the retractable top position.

Adaptive Cruise Control: with Stop and Go function for driving in traffic
Automatic High Beam: automatically turns on and off high beams when driving at night
Blind Spot Monitoring: alerts driver to vehicles in the blind spot
Lane Departure Warning: acoustic and visual alert that the car has strayed out of its lane
Predictive Emergency Brake System: alerts the driver to potential collision risks readying the car to lessen the consequences of a frontal impact
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert: warns the driver of moving obstacles hidden in the car's rear blind spot when reversing.
Surround View: with 3D display
Traffic Sign Recognition: always displays the speed limits on the particular road/street vehicle is on
