Rolls-Royce has introduced the 2nd Generation Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended in the Indian market. And this luxury car comes with the price tag of INR 7.95 Crores (ex-showroom). The Extended in the name undoubtedly means a long-wheelbase variant (LWB). For this long wheelbase and Extended variant, Rolls Royce increased INR 1 crore more than the standard 2nd generation Ghost. In the back, the Ghost extended gives the most more considerable rear legroom in a four-seat saloon except Phantom.
Ghost Extended is built on the same aluminum spaceframe chassis like the Rolls-Royce Phantom and the Cullinan.
This Ghost Extended gives 170mm more space than the standard Ghost. It is also longer than the 2nd generation Ghost, which(2nd gen Ghost) is even larger than its ancient one variant. The Ghost Extended gets 5,715mm, while the 2nd gen Ghost came with a length of 5,546mm.
Let's see under the hood of this luxury, So here we can find a big 6.75-liter V12 petrol engine powered by twin-turbochargers. This big mill can generate 571PS of power and 850Nm of torque at just 1600 RPM. And that's an excellent engine output. This car has a ZF 8HP90 named 8-speed Automatic Transmission. For too calm and quiet cabin room at high speed, the company has incorporated around 100kg of acoustic damping materials into the chassis, bodywork, and tires.
At the exterior, The Ghost Extended gets all the same design as the Ghost when we face from the front. The visible changes are done at the rear body around rear doors and preserve lines of the Ghost.
While we look at the interior, The Ghost Extended is equipped with a reclining Serenity Seat for the First time. Between the two rear seats, Ghost Extended has a Champagne fridge slot, which is consulted with Master Sommelier, to learn the optimum serving temperatures of vintage champagne and according to tuned the cooling. Ghost Extended has a WiFi connectivity feature and cutting-edge infotainment system, which is essential to a business person.
The Ghost Extended also gets many more highlight features from 2nd gen of Ghost, like new illuminated Pantheon grille, which has 20 LEDs to glow in vertical vanes, unique LED and Laser headlight, and new taillights. A Micro-Environment Purification System and Bespoke 18 channel Audio System.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended version's deliveries are expected to start from Q4 of 2020 in the Global market and Q1 of 2021 in the Indian market.
