MERCEDES-BENZ INDIA ANNOUNCED LAUNCH DATE OF EQC ELECTRIC CAR IN INDIA | EV NEWS | AUTO REPORTER
The German Luxury Carmaker Mercedes-Benz's subsidiary Mercedes-Benz India announced the Launch Date for their Electric Suv EQC in India. This Electric SUV developed under the Mercedes Benz All-Electric Sub-brand "EQ." The Mercedes Benz's Electric Luxury SUV EQC launch and start sales in India on this 8th October 2020. The Mercedes Benz EQC will be priced as Rs 1.2-1.5 crore(Ex-Showroom) in India. This Electric SUV of Mercedes Benz planned to launch in April 2020, but Due to Corona Pandemic, the launch has been delayed, and Now EQC launch on this 8th October.
The Mercedes Benz EQC has dual Electric motors, one motor for each axle. The dual-motor setup of EQC produces a combined 402 Bhp power and peak torque of 765 Nm. The EQC can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, and it has an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h. The lithium-ion battery pack of Mercedes Benz EQC helps it to provide a maximum range of 450 kilometers. The Mercedes Benz EQC has a fast charging technology that can charge this Electric SUV in a short time of 90 minutes.
The EQC has Mercedes Benz's familiar grille design with chrome elements inside and 'U' shaped chrome lining under the grill. It also has a DRL strip on top of the grill. In the center of the grill, EQC has Mercedes Benz's food plate size big logo. The headlamps are futuristic with the design following DRLs and blue elements in it. The side profile of EQC has a very similar design with Mercedes Benz GLC. If we saw the rear face of EQC, it has a very slicker design of taillamps, and these taillamps are joined with the long light strip between them. Under the long light strip, it has a brand logo and badging of "EQC 400". The wheel of EQC is looking futuristic with blue inserts in it.
The interior of Mercedes Benz EQC has loaded with luxury features. Also, EQC doesn't have more physical buttons. It has Driver focused 12.3-inch dual screens and trackpad fitted console. The Indian version of EQC will be equipped with Mercedes Benz MBUX interior assistant as an international market EQC. The interior upholstery will be made from renewable materials.
The Mercedes Benz EQC will be launch with a price tag of Rs 1.2-1.5 Crore Ex-Showroom in India.
