DUCATI SCRAMBLER 1100 PRO AND PRO SPORT BS6 SERIES WILL LAUNCH TOMORROW | BIKE NEWS | AUTO REPORTER

Ducati India is ready to launch the Scrambler 1100 Pro and Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport in India tomorrow. These machines will add in the portfolio of Ducati India’s BS6 Edition with an old member Panigale V2 which is launched in India early this year.
Both powerful twins will come with Ducati's 1079cc, L-Twin engine rated for out 83.5bhp at 7250rpm, and 90.5Nm of torque at 4750rpm. Both bikes will get Brembo Monobloc M4 calipers as standard with an extensive electronic suite with a Ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, Bosch ABS, and Ducati Traction Control.
As twins both have a lot of similarities including the tank, the full-LED headlamps and offset instruments, and dual under-seat tail-pipes. The two will be set apart only in their outlook with individual paint schemes, the 1100 Pro will be offered in Ducati's Ocean Drive theme, the 1100 Pro Sport gets a Matte Black paint with bar-end mirrors and a tan brown seat. In addition, Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport gets top-spec Ohlins suspension at both ends whereas the 1100 Pro uses Marzocchi forks up front and a Kayaba-sourced mono-shock.
Scrambler 1100 will go up against the Triumph Scrambler 1200. The Scrambler 1100 is likely to be followed by the Multistrada 950. Prices for the Scrambler twins are likely to start from the Rs 11.4 lakh mark for the 1100 Pro and likely to go up to 11.8 for the Cafe racer styled Pro Sport. While both bikes have a lot of similarities.
