So Anand Mahindra recently Gifted a Brand new Mahindra tractor to honored Laungi Bhuiyan, who dug a 3 kilometers canal in 30 years. While Laungi Bhuiyan's Achievement has been widely boomed and has earned him the nickname 'Canal Man,' then Anand Mahindra proposed to honor him with a Tractor, and a Mahindra dealership came through on it.
Anand Mahindra Shared a photo of Laungi Bhuiyan standing next to a brand new tractor. He appreciated his team's instant work at Mahindra Rise and a Dealership in Bihar in giving Bhuiyan a token of appreciation for his enormous effort. Mahindra had previously added praise on the farmer and had compared his feat to build the Taj Mahal. "As you know, I had tweeted that I think his canal is as impressive a monument as the Taj or the Pyramids. We at @MahindraRise would consider it an honor to have him use our tractor."
A Lungi Bhuiyan's Massive and Time-consuming effort to dig a long canal was to bring rainwater from a nearby hill to his Farmland near Kothilawa in the Lahthua area of Gaya. Talking to news agency ANI, He said, "It took me 30 years to dig this canal which takes the water to a pond in the village." He also reportedly said that he would like a tractor to help him with his work. It is a message that reached the right ears, and Anand Mahindra got his team to honor the hard-working farmer Laungi Bhuiyan.
